El árbol de los deseos / Wish tree by Yoko Ono

Yoko Ono, creó una instalación artística partiendo de un árbol en la cual los visitantes al museo debían escribir su deseo y colgarlo en una de sus ramas. Así, se recopilarían los deseos de todos aquellos participantes para posteriormente enterrarlos en Reikiavik debajo del monumento "Imagine tower" que ella misma diseño y elaboró para su marido Jonh Lennon en 2007.

Asimismo, esta instalación a trascendido a un plano virtual y global bajo el hashtag #WishTreeDC en la red social Instagram. De esta forma, todos esos deseos que llegan por la plataforma online, son escritos y enterrados en el árbol original.

Yoko Ono created an art installation based on a tree on which visitors to the museum had to write their wish and hang it on one of its branches. In this way, the wishes of all the participants were collected and then buried in Reykjavik under the "Imagine tower" monument that she herself designed and created for her husband John Lennon in 2007.
